Registration with Corinium Care
CARERS GUIDELINES
1. NATURE OF THE RELATIONSHIP
-
These rules do not constitute a contract of employment or contract for services.
2. APPOINTMENT
-
Each carer appoints Corinium as their agent to make introductions to clients on the understanding that the contracts for services between the client and the carer are on a rota-by-rota basis only.
-
Corinium will do its best to introduce carers to suitable clients, but cannot guarantee that this will always be possible.
-
Carers are free to accept or decline work arranged by Corinium but, where they do accept, they are expected to adhere to the arrangements made with a client.
3. PAYMENT
-
For private work each carer appoints Corinium as their agent to agree their charges with the client, who will pay them directly before departure.
-
For Social Services work the carer will be paid by Corinium, who will make the normal deductions as required under PAYE.
4. CARERS OBLIGATIONS
-
As carers registered with Corinium are not Corinium's employees nor are they contracted to Corinium, they have no conditions of employment.
-
Carers when first registering and on any subsequent request by Corinium must produce satisfactory evidence that they are legally entitled to work in the U.K. without any restriction.
-
Carers must accept that the duties with individual clients may be terminated at any time by the client, or by Corinium acting on behalf of the client.
-
Carers may terminate their registration with Corinium at any time by giving reasonable notice. If within six months a carer enters into an arrangement with a client previously introduced to them by Corinium they must notify Corinium in writing as soon as possible.
