Work permit

You must have a valid working visa if you are from overseas. If a parent or grandparent was born in the UK you may be able to apply for an 'Ancestry Working Visa' which is good for up to four years. Police Checks

Please make sure you obtain a Police record check on yourself from your local Police Authority before you leave home. Bring this certificate with you so you have the necessary paperwork for a CRB check in this country

Availability

We do not take on anyone for less than a 3 months commitment and preference is given to those that can stay for longer periods

English

You must have a good standard of written and spoken English

Training

We recommend you undertake some basic training before you apply but all our Carers receive an intensive recognised training programme for which a certificate is issued.

Driving Licence

Whilst not essential, a driving licence is a distinct advantage
